Privacy Policy

Levitation is a meditation and wellness application provided by Guider Consulting. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, prevent, or treat any condition.

Information Processed

Levitation may process a profile name, optional email address, password hash, preferences, unlocked rewards, and meditation summaries on your device. Session summaries include duration, time categorized as calm, neutral, or active, recovery count, score, and selected training ground.

Live EEG samples from a connected Muse headset are used to calculate immediate feedback. Raw EEG samples are not saved in session history.

Levitation also keeps a short troubleshooting log in memory while the app is open. It records coarse events such as Bluetooth connection outcomes, calibration completion, missing signal frames, and headset-contact recovery. It does not contain raw EEG, profile identity, scores, email addresses, headset names, or a second-by-second meditation-state timeline. It is never transmitted automatically and disappears when the app closes. A user may choose You > Export Diagnostics when requesting support.

Bluetooth

Bluetooth access is used only to find, connect to, and receive signals from a compatible Muse headset. Bluetooth data is processed by the app on your device.

Storage and Sharing

Guest and local-only profiles store meditation history on the device. If secure cloud accounts are enabled and a user creates or signs into one, Levitation sends the account email, profile settings, unlocked rewards, and summarized session history to the Levitation account service so history can be recovered and synchronized. Raw EEG samples are never uploaded or retained by that service.

The account service uses Cloudflare Workers, D1, Email Sending, and Turnstile for authentication, storage, verification, abuse prevention, recovery, and deletion. Levitation does not include advertising SDKs, sell personal information, or use meditation history for advertising.

Deleting the app may remove locally stored data but does not by itself delete an optional cloud account. Use You > Export Data to export a profile summary. Export Diagnostics is a separate, user-initiated support export and does not include profile or meditation-history data. Use You > Delete Profile to initiate permanent account deletion. Verified cloud deletion removes the account and associated profile, session, migration, and wisdom records.

Passwords and Recovery

Local-only passwords are stored as one-way password hashes and cannot be read from the stored profile. Cloud account passwords are handled by the authentication service and are not stored in the app's profile cache. Verified cloud accounts can request password-reset instructions by email.

Children

Levitation is not currently offered as a child-directed online service. A parent or guardian should supervise use by anyone under 13. No child should enter an email address without parental permission.

Retention

Local data remains until the profile is deleted, application storage is cleared, or the app is removed. The device cache keeps the 100 most recent sessions per profile. Cloud account summaries remain until the account is deleted, subject to service safety limits and legal obligations.

Changes

If data collection or sharing changes, this policy will be updated before the changed behavior is released.
